We flew from Montreal in Canada to Santiago, then took a connecting flight down to Puerto Montt. We rented a car and drove over to the island of Chiloe and then drove back through Puerto Montt to the Lakes and Volcanos region.

After that we took the Navimag Ferry from Puerto Montt down the inland passage to Puerto Natales, which is a short bus ride from Torres del Paine. Then a bus down to Punta Arenas.

There we rented another car and drove to Pali Aike, then took a ferry over to Tierra del Fuego.

Another plane ride brought us back up from Punta Arenas to Puerto Montt. There we rented another car and went to the Alerce Andino and Cochamo areas. A final flight took us back from Puerto Montt to Santiago and then on to Montreal.
