Another view of Glaciar Grey. This the other tongue of the glacier, which has split to go around the nuntak in the right of the photograph.
As we left the refugio the next morning to hike back down to Lago Pehoe we came upon this footprint in the path. It was raining and the print (one of several) could not have been more than a few minutes old or it would have been washed out. From its size and shape the only thing it could have been was a mountain lion. It must have heard us coming and moved away. Afterwards we kept a sharp eye on ledges overhanging the trail and were sure to walk tall and carry on a loud conversation with each other.
