Agile wallabies, Macropus agilis, are the most common kangaroo in the northern part of Australia. Like other kangaroos, the agile wallaby is a herbivore, feeding primarily on browse. This male is well adapted to the hot environment.
The difference among wallabies, wallaroos, kangaroos, etc. seems to be fairly technical. We couldn't figure out any pattern except that the various kangaroos often seemed to be larger and to have more rounded ears than the wallabies and wallaroos.
